Our painting process is what sets us apart from our competitors. There is more than one option available for exterior painting, depending on your budget.  This is our preferred method.

The first step we take is to pressure wash all surfaces to be painted.  We use a gas powered pressure washer with no less than 2400 psi.  The pressure washer tip must be within 12 inches of the surfaces to clean it properly, so we use ladders to navigate around your home to make sure everything is properly washed.  If there is a problem with mold or mildew, or the substrate is extremely dirty, we will pre-treat with a solution of TSP (tri-sodium phosphate) and bleach.

Next, we properly prep the house for painting.  This requires a lot of work!  We caulk with an elastomeric caulk; ripping out the old caulk, if it has failed.  Properly caulking really helps with weatherization and appearance.  We check for cracks and holes and fill as needed.  We also scrape all the loose paint and prime.  Certain aspects of the job may require sanding, which we take care of during our prepping phase.  We tape off to protect all non-painted surfaces, and we protect your surroundings, including all of your lovely landscaping.

The third step is really what sets us apart from our competitors: paint application.  We apply the paint to  your siding with an airless sprayer, then we back brush or roll to work the paint in, and then we apply a second coat.  This method enables us to give you an extended warranty.  There is much debate on whether to brush/roll or spray exteriors.  Most painters spray because this allows the painter to apply a heavy coat, quickly.  However, rolling or brushing works the paint into the siding, making for a better seal.  So, we combine both methods and apply two coats.  

Finally, we clean up and inspect the house for touch-ups.  We clearly label the paint cans so you can store them for touch-ups and reference.  We go to great lengths to give you the best paint job, and we do it at an affordable price!
